今天是我的生日（香港時間呀！）。在這麼的一個日子，我是不是要寫一些甚麼感言呢？
其實這幾年來，我對生日也沒有甚麼特別的感覺了。跟朋友過也好，以前跟女朋友過也好，一個人過也好，其實也沒有太大的分別：我的生日，是寂寞的日子。
為甚麼？也許是因為每個生日也像在提醒自己：我又獨自一個人走過一年了。
我大概不應該無病呻吟。我已經很幸運，有把我照顧得無微不至的家人，也有了解我和真誠對我的朋友，哪裡是一個人？
但是，有一些感觸，一些心情，是言語不能形容的。無論家人，朋友，情人跟我再親密，有些事情還是要我自己一個去面對的。每個人的路，都需要自己走出來的。That's life.
隨非你是我，才可與我常在。
生日願望？我希望世界和平。
Yeah, right.

Nothing much to report these days, time is split between doing research (a-hem), watching the Canucks, little things here and there, and not doing anything in particular.

Compared to the Bay Area, Vancouver is really heaven in certain aspects...

When I was visiting Taipei (precisely this time last year), there's an intersection where at one point the pedestrians can cross the intersection diagonally (it's near the Taipei City Hall). I thought it was peculiar because I've never seen it before. Just now I ran across the traffic light page ...
