The Irony of Life
March 3, 2005 – 02:17Suddenly see a friend whom I’ve lost contact with a year ago (after he went to Japan for coop) suddenly appearing on ICQ. It turns out that he’s in Germany now in another coop job. Me jealous…
Finishing the undergrad degree in 4 years wasn’t my intention at all. I wanted to get work experiences, and I would like to try working abroad… But yet I’m sitting in the comforts of my home typing this… Life is full of irony, isn’t it?

One Response to “The Irony of Life”
Hi David, I know this may seem to be a lot of Scripture but I pray you will be encouraged greatly today
Psalms 46:1-3 God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear, though the earth give way and the mountains fall into the heart of the sea, though its waters roar and foam and the mountains quake with their surging.
Psalms 18:2 The LORD is my rock, my fortress and my deliverer; my God is my rock, in whom I take refuge. He is my shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold.
Psalms 27:13-14 I would have lost heart, unless I had believed That I would see the goodness of the LORD In the land of the living. Wait on the LORD; Be of good courage, And He shall strengthen your heart; Wait, I say, on the LORD!
Psalms 55:22 Cast your cares on the LORD and he will sustain you; he will never let the righteous fall.
Isaiah 43:18 Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past.
John 16:33 “I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.”
Numbers 6:24-26 “May The LORD bless you and keep you; the LORD make his face shine upon you and be gracious to you; the LORD turn his face toward you and give you peace.”
Grace and Peace be yours.
